ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Colour: ruby ​​red, intense and warm violet notes, clear. Bouquet: broad and fine, rich in notes of red fruit and fine spices. Taste: dry, full and elegant in tones of complex fruit and notes of sweet spices.

GRAPE VARIETIES: 70% Sangiovese, 20% Trasimeno Gamay, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

VINEYARD: from associated producers located on the hills of Castiglione del Lago, Petrignano del Lago and Vaiano.

PRODUCTION PER HECTARE: Grapes: 4000/5000 kg/ha. Wine 23/30 l/ha.

AGEING: About 12 months in French oak barriques located in the historic cellars of the sixteenth-century palace of the Duke of Corgna in Città della Pieve.

BOTTLING: starting from February of the two years following the harvest.

AGING: 7 months in the bottle.

AVERAGE ANNUAL PRODUCTION: about 20 thousand bottles.
